[Summer 98][Fall 98][Fall 98][Winter 99]

iNET Omega League, Summer, 1998, was our very first league experience, and we jumped right into Pro League, taking seventh place out of 20. Here are some thoughts by Hyskos about our squad:

    7. BALLISTICS
BALLISTICS may not have been very high profile this season but they have done really well, especially when you consider that this is the first league they have been involved in. They have used their turreting tactic to good effect and have also proved that they can do well in normal play. Should do well in the new VIE AMLeague, helped by theirexperience in iNET.
    Player of the season: Pimp-25
[vs StarFire Elite][vs BIA][vs Unhallowed][vs T R I][vs Eternalz][vs Langoleers][vs The Loonie Squad][vs One Spirit][vs SubWormz][vs Hallucinogenic Shrooms][vs Three Crowns][vs Outlawz][vs (Kindred)][vs Fireknives][vs Sky Rakers][vs Enterprize][Seasons Stats]

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. Starfire Elite Score: BALLISTICS 12, Starfire Elite 5. Second game of the day and there's nothing like a good beating to whip yourself into shape. Cav woke his ass up and joined us for this match and snagged MVP with 4 perfectly timed vulches. Bortas and Pimp-25 were near elimination when they converged for the last 2 kills of the game. This marks the end of iNET League 1998. BALLISTICS entered the season late with no prior league experience and placed 6th out of the 20 squads in the league. This means we will not have to challenge the Delta League squads to retain our position in the Omega League. The next season is set to start up around October 10th, 1998. Kep Session.log

  • Cavitation 5-0
  • Kepi13 2-0
  • Pimp-25 3-2
  • Bortas 1-2
  • fusiongt (Alpha Squadron) 1-1

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. BIA Score: BALLISTICS 5, BIA 12. Our first of 2 games scheduled today since last week's game was postponed. Not a very good performance since we were spread out all over the arena. And also a side note...640x480 is not ideal for league games =) Kep Session.log

  • Pimp-25 3-3
  • Ace High 1-3
  • Bortas 0-3
  • Kepi13 1-3

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. Unhallowed Score: BALLISTICS 2, Unhallowed 12. Ouch, my first league match and we got annihilated, I take the blame, I don't know what the f--- I was doing. Sorry guys, I won't start until I get more prac time in :( Bortas

  • Drevok 1-3
  • Pimp-25 1-3
  • Fusiongt (Alpha Squadron) 0-1
  • Ace High 0-2
  • Bortas 0-3

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. T R I Score: BALLISTICS 12, T R I 6. Way to go fellas, our winning streak was 5 games, our losing 1, lets put at least 4 more at the end of this streak :) C'mon, who recorded the log for me?? Bortas

  • Pimp 25 6-2
  • Cavitation 4-0
  • Kepi 2-0
  • Fusiongt (Alpha Squadron) 0-1
  • Gunstar 0-3

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs Eternalz Score: BALLISTICS 6, Eternalz 12. Bad break from the SS gods during this game. Less than a minute from the start of the match, Dazed lagged out and Death_Threat had to sub in...leaving Eternalz with the powerplay which they capitalized on giving them the first kill. With Death_Threat in, we were at full strength and were able to tie the score shortly after at 2-2. But 2 minutes later, he too would lag out giving Eternalz the powerplay again which they took advantage of and jumped to a 4-3 lead. Sorting out the subs again...Kepi jumped in for Death_Threat and brought the balance back to 4 on 4. We took advantage of this balance and took our first lead of the game 5-4. The SS gods would strike again... Kepi lags out giving Eternalz their 3rd powerplay opportunity in which they regain the lead 7-5. Death_Threat jumps back in for Kepi and at the same moment, PIMP-25 lags out....powerplay #4 for Eternalz. Kepi reconnects, jumps back in, and Death_Threat gets the boot...powerplay #5. In this time...leading scorer Gunstar was eliminated as we had at times, only him and drevok in. This leaves Eternalz with powerplay #6 for the remainder of the match. Tough break...virtually 4 on 3 the whole match. Prac game followed immediately after the match. We had no lagouts during the prac and won 12-4. Oh well... Just goes to show you that we need to get decent isp's for league matches :) And hey, a winning streak has to end some time. Kepi/Bortas

  • Gunstar 3-3
  • Drevok 2-3
  • Pimp 25 1-1
  • Kepi 0-3

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. Langoleers Saturday, August 1 Score: BALLISTICS 12, Langoleers 4. We are on a streak, 5th win in a row, against some talented teams. We started off in turret then switched to swarm in first couple of minutes. Drevok had a double set of kills that brought us out in front. It was a pure out swarming of them that we did, nicely done. It was over so fast that I didn't even get in on the only match I have attended :( But it was worth it to see these boys kick some but. Drevok is forever god in my book :) Bortas

  • Drevok 5-0
  • Ace High 4-1
  • Death Threat 1-0
  • Pimp 25 1-1
  • Gunstar 1-2

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. The Loonie Squad Saturday, July 25 Score: BALLISTICS 12, TLS 6. 4 in a row, way to go. Turreted for a 4-0 lead then TLS went stealthed and attacked from all 4 angles to take us out and bring on a new game at 4-4. Then swarm vs swarm and we came out on top 8-2 in that category...bringing our final to 12-6. PIMP vulched like mad and snagged MVP with an impressive 6-1...the only death coming off the turret. Kepi

  • Pimp 25 6-1
  • Gunstar 4-1
  • Ace High 2-2
  • Kepi 0-2 (the antiwarpers always suffer)

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. One Spirit Saturday, July 18 Score: BALLISTICS 11, One Spirit 3. Wahoo, 3 in a row for us, way to go fellas! Instead of turreting, we went for the old fashioned swarm, and went 7-0 till One Spirit split it up and got their three kills in. We got things back together for 4 more kills, but failed to get the last kill before time ran out. Kepi/Pimp/Bortas

  • Kepi13 4-1
  • Drevok 3-1
  • Gunstar 2-0
  • Pimp25 2-1

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. Subwormz Saturday, July 11, 1998 Score: BALLISTICS 11, Subwormz 4. Two in a row for BALLISTICS now. Turreted for first 5 kills, with Drevok as wing, till he died. Then got bored so went to swarm. Captain Curling got both Pimp and Gunstar, for two of Subwormz kills. Captain Curling was last Subwormz left alive, and managed to stay that way till time ran out, preventing BALLISTICS 12th kill. People may get pissed, but if any squad can win league games turreting, its this one :) Kepi/Captain Curling/Bortas

  • Drevok 4-1
  • Ace High 3-0
  • Pimp-25 3-1
  • Gunstar 1-2

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. Hallucinogenic Shrooms Saturday, June 13, 1998 Score: BALLISTICS 12, Hallucingenic Shrooms 3. About time we got our act together and pulled out a win, beating the league predictions. In a great team-saving move, Drevok came flying in stealthed with guns ablazing to kill one of the two Smurfs swarming a Repel-less Kepi, hitting with approximately 12 bullets in a row. Kepi

  • Drevok 4-0
  • Kepi13 4-2
  • Eek A Mouse 2-0
  • Pimp-25 2-1

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. Three Crowns June 6, 1998 Score: BALLISTICS 6, Three Crowns 7. We were up 6-5, till Ace-High was eliminated, giving Three Crowns the power play. At least we balked the league predictions by a fair share. Kepi/Bortas

  • Cavitation 3-1
  • Drevok 1-1
  • Kepi 1-2
  • Ace High 1-3

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. Outlawz May 30, 1998 Score: BALLISTICS 8, Outlawz 9. Major bummer, time ran out, and refs had to discuss an issue for over 15 minutes, only 10 of which we got back, oh well, glad this isn't VIE league. Kepi/Bortas

  • Drevok 3-0
  • Floppy Protocol 2-3
  • Kepi 1-0
  • Eek A Mouse 1-3
  • Pimp 1-3

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. (Kindred) May 23, 1998 Score: BALLISTICS 2, (Kindred) 12. Tough loss, couple our boys sat in chaos because we still didn't have access. Bortas

  • Pimp 25 1-0
  • Eek A Mouse 1-3
  • Block Head 0-3
  • Drevok 0-3
  • RayGun88 0-3

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. Fireknives May 16, 1998 Score: BALLISTICS 5, Fireknives 11. First off, only three BALLISTICS showed, so Grouchy Smurf graciously stood in, and second, time ran out before the Fireknives got their 12th kill. Bortas

  • Kepi 2-3
  • Drevok 1-3
  • BlockHead 1-3
  • GrouchySmurf 1-2

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. Sky_Raiders May 9, 1998 forfeit in favor of BALLISTICS. Bummer of a way to get points, but oh well. Bortas

iNET Euro Pro League, BALLISTICS vs. Enterprize May 2, 1998 Score: BALLISTICS 12, Enterprize 0. This is the first match that I started recording, and I don't know if there were other matches before this or not... but all I have to say is nice clean sweep! Bortas

  • PIMP-25 5-0
  • Floppy Protocol 3-0
  • Cavitation 2-0
  • Eek-A-Mouse 2-0

For squad totals, I only total actual kills and losses, and none atributed to a team because it lost or the three atributed to a laged out player. The only kills listed here are "honest" (killed by weapons) deaths. Also, MVP's are only recorded if we win.
